Pointe Shoe Fitting with Bloch London

As every dancer knows, pointe work is an essential part of ballet technique, but it can also be challenging, painful, and even dangerous if you don't have the right fit for your pointe shoes. That's why it's crucial to work with a professional fitter like Rob Ferguson of Bloch London, who has years of experience and expertise in finding the perfect pointe shoe for each dancer's unique foot shape, size, and strength.

During this workshop, Rob will guide you through the process of assessing your feet, measuring your arch, and testing various models and sizes of pointe shoes to ensure that you find the most comfortable and supportive fit for your individual needs. He will also share tips on how to care for your pointe shoes, break them in, and extend their lifespan.

Ballet d’Jèrri is proud to present this rare opportunity to learn from one of the best in the business and gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the art and science of pointe shoe fitting. Company dancers and Bloch pointe shoe wearers Ombline Noyer and Anna Daly will also stop by to chat to students about their own personal journeys to finding the right fit.
