Joshua Swain

Joshua Swain is an Australian professional dancer and soloist with extensive experience performing across Germany’s leading ballet companies. He has worked with the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, Oper Leipzig, and Anhaltisches Theater Dessau, performing major roles in productions including Carmina Burana, Giselle, The Firebird, The Nutcracker, and Swan Lake. Joshua trained at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim, where he completed both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Dance, and was also a semi-finalist at the Prix de Lausanne and the Genée International Ballet Competition.

He joins BDJ as a guest for Black Dog Noir.
