Layla Bruce

Layla Bruce was born in Somerset, England, and trained at Elmhurst Ballet School and London Vocational Dance School before joining the BA Modern Ballet program with The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Since graduating in 2024, Layla has worked with Mark Bruce Company, Yorke Dance Project, Gemma Payne and Will Tuckett on the feature film "Ballerina Overdrive" as well as being a full-time apprentice with Budapest Dance Theatre in Hungary.

She joins BDJ for the 2025-2026 Season.
