Tabitha Dombroski

Tabitha Dombroski is a queer multidisciplinary dancer from Pōneke, Aotearoa. They completed their full-time training with the John Cranko School in Germany after studying at The New Zealand School of Dance. After a brief time working in Switzerland, the pandemic brought them home, where they embraced freelancing across Aotearoa and abroad (Australia, Canada, UK). 

Alongside company life, they are also studying a BSc in Psychology with a minor in Business, driven by a strong interest in mental health in dance. Now working to bridge their studies and their movement practices with humanistic and community-driven approaches.

Tabitha first joined BDJ as a freelance artist and joined the company in 2024.
