Under_Score is a classical concert and a showcase of contemporary dance. Working with Moments Musicaux, we are welcoming distinguished Vienna-based musicians Anika Vavić and Rémy Ballot to share the stage with the Dancers of Jersey’s National Ballet.

The musical programme traces a musical arc from Baroque clarity to Romantic intensity, with choreography set to works by Bach, Corelli, Beethoven, Scriabin, Schubert, Brahms, and Glinka, shifting between lyricism, nostalgia, and emotional volatility.

Choreographers Stanley Young, Hannah Joseph, Tabitha Dombroski, Noemi Andreotti Coin, Daniel Davidson, Anna Daly & Donovan Délis-McCarthy take on these musical heavyweights, in a dialogue that both challenges and cherishes the notion of what it means to be a classic.
